Scholarship
We Up Next believes in the importance of higher education and pursuing a college degree whether from a community college or four-year university. With only 3% of foster youth that attend college graduating and 16% of low-income students graduating we want to help bridge that gap. We Up Next also understands that pursuing a higher education can seem overwhelming due to high cost that is why we intend to ease some anxiety by awarding scholarships to qualifying candidates. Students with a minimum of a 2.5 GPA with a background in foster care or low-income families are eligible to apply by writing an essay on what their academic and future goals are. With a minimum one-page essay we want to know more about who you are, what your academic goals are, and why we should select you to be awarded with a scholarship. If selected to be awarded with a scholarship proof of enrollment to a school will be required.
